For our experiment we proposed an activity involving string. The idea was to have an array of people placed in the room that should act as a weaving machine, passing string to each other.

During the conduction of our experiment, the people placed themselves however in a circle instead of an array, which gave the hole experiment more dynamic. The string was passed in a random fashion to towards each other, creating a complicated web of string, connecting each one with each other. There were no rules implied how the string was meant to be passed, but the group adapted to everyone.

It was interesting to see, how everyone contributed to the collective experience. The tightness of the string increased over time, and one could feel the movement and pulling from other people. The continues development created a collective narration, creating an intricate web ob string.
